About JDT

JDT was founded in 2003 by Richard Lea. Richard, a retired sherriff's deputy loved waterskiing and wanted to create a safe place for kids to learn and excel in water sports.

The Junior Development Team provides training opportunities for wakeboarders and water skiers of all ages to learn in a safe, fun environment and introduce them to two event slalom and wakeboard competition with the goal of being on a college ski team, with emphasis on good mentoring and sportsmanship.
